THOMPSON, N.D. (KFGO) – A Grand Forks man was seriously injured along with his passenger in a crash southeast of Thompson early Wed. morning.
The State Patrol says 49-year-old Garland Evans III was headed toward Grand Forks when he veered off a Grand Forks County road and entered the ditch. His car struck a culvert and went airborne. Evans and his passenger, a 41-year-old woman from Ontario, Canada, are hospitalized in Grand Forks.
Evans is facing a drunken driving charge. The crash was reported shortly after 5 a.m.
