COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. – A man from Cottage Grove will spend nearly five years in federal prison for robbing three banks last November.
Prosecutors said Michael Prall, 43, stole more than $2,500 from a bank in Bloomington Nov. 5 and made off with $5,400 from a Woodbury bank on Nov. 19.
Investigators say he threatened to shoot a bank teller on Nov. 30 in Cottage Grove and fled with cash, but was arrested after a foot chase.
Prall received sentence of 4 years and 9 months after pleading guilty in March.
