WASHINGTON, DC (KFGO) – Minnesota Democrats are cheering U-S House passage of two reproductive rights bills. The Ensuring Access to Abortion Act protects women who cross state lines to get reproductive care.
Congresswoman Angie Craig spoke on the House floor during Friday’s debAte stating, “this is a very personal decision between a woman, her family, her doctor and her faith.”
The House also approved the Women’s Health Protection Act which would codify Roe v. Wade into law.
Only three G-O-P members supported the bills. Minnesota Republicans Tom Emmer, Pete Stauber and Michelle Fischbach all voted “no.”
