BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A trooper in the state patrol’s Fargo district has been named Vision Zero Traffic Safety Officer of the Year.
Trooper Kristjan Helgoe was given the award at the annual Vision Zero Partner Conference in Bismarck.
The awards are for those who show outstanding service and dedication to accomplish the overall goal of Vision Zero, which is to eliminate deadly crashes and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.
