ARTHUR, N.D. – Cass County deputies responded to a burglary in progress in Arthur Sunday afternoon, leading to the arrest of a Fargo woman.
Deputies said the suspect fled the scene when the homeowner confronted her. A short time later, Cass County deputies located the suspect’s vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
During the initial investigation, deputies located stolen property from the Arthur residence and discovered that Laura Gaarsland, 37, had active warrants for her arrest.
The incident remains under investigation.
