FARGO (KFGO) – Another candidate is in the race for Fargo City Commission.
Anna Johnson previously served for three years on the city’s Native American Commission. She is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.
Johnson says she believes in “serving Fargo’s diverse community of working-class families.”
There are now seven candidates seeking a four-year term on the commission. City Commissioner Tony Gehrig is not running for re-election and Commissioner Dave Piepkorn has not yet announced if he will seek re-election.
The filing deadline is April 11. The election is on June 14.
