MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – Minot Police have arrested a suspect on a murder charge in connection with a fatal shooting.
Matthew R. Anderson, 34, of Minot, was taken into custody in the shooting of a 42-year old man Thursday morning. Anderson is being held at the Ward County Jail pending a court appearance.
Police responded to a southeast residence shortly after 2 a.m. on a report of an altercation where officers found the victim. CPR and medical aid were administered but the man died at the scene. His name has not been released.
