GRAFTON, N.D. (KFGO) – The Walsh County Sheriff’s Office in northeastern North Dakota is investigating the death of a person whose body was found in a burned-out vehicle north of Minto last Friday.
Sheriff Ron Jurgens says snowmobilers found the remains late Friday afternoon. He says there’s no indication that a crime played a role in the death.
Because of the weather conditions, Jurgens says heavy equipment was used to clear a path to the scene. Positive identification will be made by the UND Forensic Pathology Lab.
