NDSU held off a late surge from Oral Roberts to pick up a 74-70 win at Scheels Center. Heaven Hamling paced NDSU with a game-high 19 points on 4-of-8 shooting from three. Olivia Skibiel tallied a career-high 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field. She also netted a season-best four three pointers on six attempts and snatched six rebounds. Ryan Cobbins added in 12 points, while Emily Dietz grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
HEAVY WORKLOAD
Heaven Hamling has played 35 or more minutes in each of her last six games. She is slotted second in the Summit League and 25th in the nation in minutes played having logged 648:54 this season.

Heaven Hamling enters the week positioned inside the top five in the Summit League in three-point field-goal percentage (1st, 40.0), three-point field goals made (2nd, 44), three-point field goals per game (3rd, 2.32) and three-point field goals attempted (5th, 110).

Heaven Hamling has surpassed 100 career three-pointers with 101. She currently ranks 14th on the Bison all-time three-point field goals made list and is 1-of-15 players in program history to register 100 or more triples.
SKIBIEL STEPS UP
Olivia Skibiel has started each of the last four games for the Bison. She has reached double digits in scoring in three games over that span, including a career-high 18 points in the win over Oral Roberts. Skibiel is averaging 14.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over the last four contests.
LOCKED IN AT THE LINE
NDSU ranks 25th in the country and second in the Summit League in free throws made with 255. The Bison are also slotted fourth in the Summit League in free throw percentage shooting 75.5.

NDSU has connected on 10 triples in four games this season and most recently shot 10-of-30 from deep in the win over Oral Roberts last week The Bison are shooting 34.2 percent from three this season and are slotted third in the Summit League.
SCOUTING SOUTH DAKOTA
South Dakota enters the week on a 14-game win streak, which is the longest active win streak in the nation. The Coyotes most recently rolled past St. Thomas, 70-43, behind 19 points, six rebounds and four assists from Chloe Lamb. South Dakota leads the Summit League and ranks 12th in the country in scoring defense allowing only 52.6 points per game.
THE SERIES VS. SOUTH DAKOTA
South Dakota has won the last 12 meetings in the series. However, NDSU leads the all-time series, 42-37, that dates back to 1977. Earlier this season, the Bison came up short against the Coyotes, 65-38, on Jan. 1. Ryan Cobbins paced NDSU with a team-high nine points and six rebounds. Reneya Hopkins contributed eight points, while Kadie Deaton hauled in a game-high eight rebounds.
SCOUTING SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
South Dakota State has won its last four games and most recently topped Western Illinois, 114-50. All five SDSU starters reached double figures in scoring with Paige Meyer leading the way with a game-high 19 points. The Jackrabbits lead the Summit League and rank seventh in the nation in three-point field goal percentage shooting 38.4 percent.
THE SERIES VS. SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
SDSU has won the last 16 meetings and leads the all-time series, 57-36. Earlier this season, The Bison dropped a 77-60 decision against the Jackrabbits on Dec. 30. Ryan Cobbins paced NDSU with 19 points and shot 4-of-4 from three. She also contributed a team-high six rebounds with one assist and one steal.
