ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesotans struggling to pay their rent are still encouraged to apply for assistance through Rent Help MN.
State Housing Commissioner Jennifer Ho says sometimes people hear the deadlines on the evictions moratorium off-ramp and think that is tied to whether or not emergency rental assistance rent help is available. She says it is still taking applications every day. More than 65,000 applications have been submitted and 274-million dollars has been awarded.
You can call 2-1-1 or visit renthelpmn.org to see if you’re eligible for assistance.
