THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. (KFGO) – The state patrol says a St. Paul man was the person killed in a car-pickup collision near Thief River Falls early Monday morning on Highway 59.
Killed was 40-year-old Shawn Valentine. Valentine was driving a small car when he crossed the center line and crashed into the pickup driven by 73-year-old Glenn Struthers of Red Lake Falls, who was hurt. Lynda Struthers, a passenger in the pickup, was also injured. Both were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
The patrol said their injuries were not life-threatening.
