(Eagan, MN) — Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer’s usage of his Vikings starters will be similar to last week’s preseason game when the Vikings take the field in Kansas City tomorrow night.
Zimmer says he will hold out a handful of players, including Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson and Danielle Hunter, but expects most of his first-stringers to be ready for some reps in the preseason finale.
He added that he may change his mind before Friday’s game. Elsewhere in camp, offensive tackle Roderick Johnson tried out for a spot on the Vikings roster after the team waived offensive lineman Evin Ksiezarczyk and reached an injury settlement with kicker Riley Patterson.
Tomorrow’s preseason finale kicks off at 7 PM.
