Twins Make Moves
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins made a couple of roster moves prior to last night’s win over Chicago. Minnesota called up right-handed relief pitcher Nick Vincent from Triple-A St. Paul, while sending Beau Burrows back to the Saints.
Vincent signed a minor league deal with the Twins in June and will be seeing his first action in a Twins uniform. The 35-year-old veteran has pitched for the Phillies, Padres, Giants, Mariners, and Marlins.
The Twins also placed outfielder Alex Kirilloff on the 60-day Injured List. He has missed the past 19 games after undergoing surgery on his wrist on July 23rd.
