(Tokyo) — The Olympics are officially under way, days ahead of the opening ceremonies in Tokyo. Softball and soccer are on the docket for the first day, as the United States will be in action in both events.
The U.S. faced Italy at Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium in the opening round of softball, while the United States Women’s National Soccer Team met Sweden at Tokyo Stadium in Group G action early this morning.
