BORUP, MINN. (KFGO) – A man was injured during a high-speed pursuit that started in Clay County Sunday afternoon.
The State Patrol says Clay County deputies pursuing a car northbound on Highway 9 terminated the chase just south of Felton.
The driver, 30-year old Lawrence Ivory, of St. Paul, continued north into Norman County at a high speed when he attempted to jump from the car while it was still moving.
The unoccupied car then hit a driveway approach and rolled. Ivory was hurt when he exited the car. He was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with injuries that were not life-threatening.
