BISMARCK, N.D. – Minot erased an 11-point second-half deficit in their 71-68 comeback win over Fargo Davies in the Class A basketball semifinals on Saturday night.
Trailing 57-46 with 7:44 left to play, Minot outscored the Eagles 25-11 to close out the game.
Deonte’ Martinez matched a tournament-high 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the floor and finished 7-8 from the free-throw line.
Eric Entz added 20 points on 9-13 shooting for the Magi.
Brady Sauvageau tailed a team-high 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting and Owen Hektner added 18 points and 8 rebounds for Fargo Davies.
The Eagles finish the season 20-6 overall.
Minot (23-1 overall) will play West Fargo in the championship on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. from the Bismarck Events Center.
