MINOT – The Grafton Spoilers won their second Class B girls basketball championship in school history with a 64-50 win over Central Cass on Saturday night from the Minot State Dome.
Sophomore center Walker Demers finished with a game-high 20 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the floor for Grafton.
The Spoilers (25-2 overall) never trailed in the game and held a 35-21 halftime lead.
Decontee Smith finished with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 6 rebounds in the loss for Central Cass.
It’s Grafton’s first championship since 2012, while Central Cass (24-2 overall) finishes as runner-up for the fourth time in program history.
