FARGO (KFGO) – Two people are dead after a duplex fire in south Fargo. The blaze at 2101 and 2103 52nd St,. was reported at about 7:30 Tues. morning.
Three people were able to escape the smoke and flames. Fargo and West Fargo fire crews responded. Because of the fatalities, Fargo police have joined the investigation.
Initially, there was confusion about the address and West Fargo responded. Once West Fargo crews arrived, they realized the address was actually in Fargo and Fargo Fire-Rescue also responded. Both departments worked together in bringing the blaze under control.
