SIOUX FALLS, SD (KFGO) – A man who drowned in a lake near Sioux Falls died after saving two children who had fallen off a flotation device.
38-year-old Lazerick Grant of Sioux Falls died at a hospital. Deputies were sent to Wall Lake west of Sioux Falls Tuesday night on a report of a possible drowning.
Grant was on a flotation device in the swimming area of the lake with two children. The children fell in the water and Grant went in after them. He was under water for about 45 minutes.
