FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota are reporting each campus has a presumptive case of COVID-19.
University officials did not release information about whether the people are students, faculty or staff.
In a statement, NDSU said, “We are taking steps to work with the individual to isolate them from others and will be assisting public health officials in following up with any others that the individual may have recently come into contact with.”
UND said the person with the confirmed case had not been on campus for several days.
While both NDSU and UND have moved to remote class instruction for the remainder of the spring semester to limit the spread of COVID-19, some faculty and staff are still working on campus and a small number of students remain in dorms.
