STAPLES, MN (KFGO) – An 18-year-old Motley, Minn. man died in a snowmobile crash Sat. afternoon after having lunch with his family in Staples.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office says it was the first time that Paul Weston Peterson had driven a snowmobile. Peterson had left Wahoo Valley Bar & Grill ahead of his family. He was found by his father about a minute later.
The sheriff’s office says Peterson was wearing a helmet and had not been drinking.
