WADA president John Fahey says at an international sports forum in Moscow that Russia has made progress but more must be done. Fahey said Friday the fight against banned drugs in sports is especially important for Russia because it is the host the 2014 Olympics in the Black Sea resort of Sochi. Fahey says Russia has ``a duty'' because the ``world is watching'' as the country prepares for the next Winter Games. He adds that Russia should ensure that athletes are tested outside competition and efforts should be broadened to create a ``strong, stable, educated culture in which doping is forbidden altogether.'' |
